We would like to welcome you to Red Bank Baptist Church. We have been a ministry on the Virginia Eastern Shore since 1783. We are a conservative church who believes in the authority of Scripture. We also believe in the autonomy of the local church and in the fellowship of Christ's followers. We invite you to come visit us and see for yourself our style of worship, and the friendliness of our congregation. Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00 am. Meet the Pastor
Dr. John Robertson has been pastor of Red Bank Baptist Church for 14 years. Pastor John received his Doctorate from Providence Theological Seminary, with an emphasis in church growth and revitalization. Pastor John has been married to the former Pamela Alston of Portsmouth, Va. for 34 years and together they have answered God's call to pastor and love His congregations for over 30 Years. Pastor John is conservative in his theology and places a high value on ministry and mission efforts, beyond the walls of the church. Realizing we live in an ever changing culture, we at RBBC believe that every member has a role to help evangelize and disciple those who are young in their faith. Our message of a savior, who loved us enough to die, on a cross for our sins , will never change but we must be mindful of the fact, that the message must be shared in light of His unconditional love.
